| I have a son that was born with bilateral clubfeet as well. He had one surgery to stretch the Achilles Tendons when he was 2 months old. Now he is getting Physical Therapy. He has the shoes with the bar and also had inserts that kept his feet straight. But when he plays a lot like running and jumping too much he gets pains in his feet at night. He will cry and beg me to massage his feet. It kills me. I massage them and also give him Motrin which helps him to relieve the pain or I was told to put him in a warm bath, I was also told to massage his feet before he goes to sleep. I would like to put him in Head Start in September but I am afraid that everyday he will come home crying about his feet. I am going to speak to his ortho and see about having more surgery done to release his tendons in his arch. Maybe that will help him. God Bless you and your family. P.S He is going to be 3 in October. |

| My son Seth is 11 years old and he also can relate to your daughter, he too lives with pain everyday, some days worse than others. He has not let it get him down though, he'a played baseball, he's been in karate since he was 7 and now he's testing in September for his black belt, that will definitely be a motrin day. Seth has his own email if your daughter would like to email him. karatekidseth@yahoo.com Hope all works out ok. God Bless. |
