Information on ClubFeet in Black and White

Josh Richardson's Story

Hi i have bilateral club feet. Here is my story. When i was born i had to have cast on my feet when i came home. Then 3 months later i started to have surgres on both of my ankles. I have had surgres till the age of 16.

That is when i got my left foot fused and now i can still do everything i use to do that. it is just a little harder than it use to be. if you have any questions or comments go ahead and leave them and ill try to get back with you as soon as i can.

I was born with bilateral club feet as well. I was casted after birth, and had my first surgery when I was 7. Now since 2004 to date I have had over four surgeries, including a triple orthodisis on both feet, a tenden tightening, repair, and a scope done to clean out cartilage that is flaking away in my foot. I am in extream pain. I have extreme pain everytime I try and stand up. I have two small kids and sometimes it is very hard to do things. I can't chase them around the yard, I can't help them learn to ride their bikes, and I can't kick a ball back to them....Do you have any sergical advice that may help? Or any suggestions for the pain....Thanks Heather
