Daniel Van Velzen's Story
i have club feetHi, my name is Daniel Van Velzen, i am 15 years old and i am from Melbourne Australia and i was born with club feet.
I was put into plaster when i was two days old and i would'nt get out of plaster until i am 2 years old, my mother would take me to the hospital every three days to get my plaster removed and a new set put on because i was growing.
From the day i was to now i have had 5 operrations my first at 3 months and my last a year ago and each of them resulting in wearing a plastic brace or special shoes.
I am just like any other typical 15 year old kid i play heaps of sports like Aussie rules and Cricket, my feet dont stop me from doing anything but i have cronic foot pain after doing all of my different activities.
