christine, my son had surgeyr at 8mnths old , started walking at about 14 mnths....he is now 10 and has had yearly check ups w/xrays and all is good. The dr said as of now no surgerys are needed. His calfs are a little thinner, his feet curve in but he does everythinga 10yr old does....If you have any questions just email me...good luck

Hi thanks for you comment. My son only had 1 surgery so far.By the looks of it now i dont think he will need another 1 anytime soon. His feet are fine they look grand. He is 1 now not walking yet but flys around his walker and climbs around everything. His feet dont turn up anymoor. was you foot still the same when you where 20 could you play any sports when you were younger or was it just to sore for you.

I was born with sever bilateral clubfeet(both feet). I had surgeries from the time I was 8 weeks old until I was 2 years old. Then I had one more surgry on my right foot when I was 20 years old. I am now 30 years old and I have severe pain. I have had this pain as far back as I can remember at 6 years old. Your son may have pain or not when he gets older. From what I have read of your story, you are doing what is best for your son and that does make a difference.
