my son daughter has club feetI have 4 children, two of which has bilateral clubfeet. Believe me I know it is hard with just one let alone with two.
They both went through casting until they were 3-4 months old ,then they has 3 surgeries each.
My daughter Dakota, had 2 major ones ending up with 3 pins in her right foot and 2 in the other(only temp pins),then her final surgery was a minor one. She still has the scars to show it. she is 7 now. Her scars go from the tip of her big toe all the way up to mid calf. With many more little one all over her feet. My son David, He went through the basic procedure, but with no pins. Thank god.
finally.
they both have to go in for check ups once a year. The outcome is that they will most likely have to have more in the future.
